COMMERCIAL SPACE DEPAIRE BRUSSELS
Transport Marcel Depaire has completed an extension/restyling of its existing warehouse and office in Mollem (Brussels). The existing facades were replaced. The north facade was fitted with a fully transparent curtain wall, creating representative open and light workspaces. The glass facade is framed by a steel canopy that blends seamlessly into the metal facade cladding. DOV took care of both the design and interior, as well as the building permit application and work supervision in Belgium.
EN / By Marcel de Paire: The Transports Marcel De Paire was established in 1964 by Marcel De Paire, who began operating in national transport across Belgium. The boom in the steel industry and the opening up to other countries, mainly France, brought a new dimension to the company in the 1970s. Nadine De Paire, Marcel's daughter, decided to join the company in 1981. At the end of the 1980s, automotive manufacturers such as VW and Renault became part of the customer base. During this period, Just In Time delivery systems were set up and spread throughout the entire industry. Since the beginning of 1998, we have been investing in a warehouse, giving our customers the possibility to store and handle their products and prepare their orders and deliveries. In 2014, we decided to expand our facilities by investing in a new, best-in-class, eco-friendly building to increase our warehousing capacity. For 60 years, Transports Marcel Depaire has been a well-established company thanks to its high level of customer satisfaction, providing the best solutions for national and international transport and meeting your logistical needs.
Recommendation: “We highly recommend DENOLDERVLEUGELS Architects & Associates for the professional, competitive, and smart solutions they provided us. We wish DENOLDERVLEUGELS Architects & Associates all the best and will not hesitate to stay in touch for future potential projects.”

The calm white interior reflects the company's logistical efficiency. Clear sightlines and transparent partitions provide a clear overview. The façade lets in plenty of light, reducing the need for artificial lighting.

The entrance hall provides an overview and access to the upper floor.
