Modern Classics
Our architecture is based on modernist principles, but developed for the contemporary context. We design buildings that are clear, rational, and precise, with a clear structure and a strong focus on use. At the same time, we strive for spatial quality: experience, comfort, and materials are just as important as form.
The foundation: timeless modernist values
We work from a tradition in which clarity and logic form the basis. Architecture is legible and consistent: form follows function, construction is an organizing system, and the relationship with the location is self-evident. Buildings and landscapes are approached as a whole. For us, these values are timeless. They ensure tranquility, sustainability, and a strong architectural identity.
The deepening: space, softness, and attention
To enrich this foundation, we add influences from Latin Modernism and Japanese design philosophy.
Latin Modernism brings openness and spatial continuity. Inside and outside are interwoven. Transitions are generous and sheltered, so that the boundary between interior and exterior is not hard, but layered.
Japanese design principles bring reduction and refinement. We seek the power of omission and the precision of detail. Emptiness takes on meaning and the composition becomes calmer and stronger.
The combination determines the character
These influences work together in our designs. The modernist discipline provides structure and clarity. The Latin and Japanese layers bring warmth, humanity, and spatial depth.
This creates architecture that is sleek without being cold, and rich without being oppressive.
Designing for the long term
We design based on principles rather than trends. Our buildings must function well now and remain convincing in the future. Materials may age, wear and tear may be visible, and architecture may acquire an extra layer over time.
