RENOVATING AND RESTORING APARTMENTS AND MONUMENTS

We have extensive experience in renovating and redesigning outdated apartments and monuments. In Amsterdam in particular, we have adapted various apartments to meet modern requirements in terms of layout, technology, and sustainability.

It is particularly challenging to implement these changes within the restrictions imposed by monument status, especially in the case of monuments. Despite these restrictions, we succeed in giving these monuments a sustainable new lease of life. Living in a monument is an experience in itself. When this can be done with all the conveniences and comforts of modern life, the enjoyment of living there is all the greater. With our expertise in the field of monuments, we can make a major contribution to this process of renovating, refurbishing, and restoring monuments.

PURCHASE GUIDANCE

We are often involved even before the purchase of the apartment or monument. Before proceeding with the purchase, we can use a quick scan to assess whether the client's requirements can be met within the budget.

WOW EFFECT

When it comes to major structural renovations and apartment redesigns, we can put our knowledge and expertise to optimal use and achieve a complete metamorphosis. Creating sightlines, open spaces, and voids creates a WOW effect. A transformation that was previously unimaginable.

SUSTAINABILITY

In addition to adapting the apartment to individual living requirements, it will also be brought back into line with current standards, which will increase its market value. Adjusting the insulation values and installations will optimize energy consumption. Renovating, refurbishing, and restoring the apartment or monument is therefore also a sustainable investment.

EXAMPLE

For a blended family, the desire was to create a bedroom for each of the five children. By combining two apartments, a spacious home was created in Amsterdam-Zuid. With nearly 300m² of living space, six bedrooms, and three bathrooms, it offers plenty of room for the residents. An extraordinary apartment in a beautiful location.

EXAMPLE

DENOLDERVLEUGELS renovated an apartment (225 m²) in the monumental apartment building 'Zonnehoek' in Amsterdam, designed in 1916 by F.A. Warners (1888-1952). Characteristic elements of the existing building were combined with modern and contemporary interior elements. In close collaboration with the client, an interior has been created that does justice to the monumental building and at the same time provides a colorful and contemporary response to modern family life.
