We completely renovated this spacious apartment in Amsterdam Zuid. The apartment is located on the^2ndand^3rdfloors and has a spacious roof terrace overlooking the city. The layout of the apartment has been redesigned and new stairs and an indoor atrium providing access to the roof terrace have been added. The entire installation has also been replaced to meet current quality requirements.

The previously 'cramped' apartment now has an open floor plan in which the various functions are connected. Long sightlines have been created throughout the property to emphasize the space. These sightlines, reinforced by a connecting light cove, create a pleasant feeling of cohesion. Where closure is desired, bronze pivot doors with glass panels have been installed.

The staircase providing access to the living area has been opened up and now forms part of the living space. An additional glass front has been added to the front façade to allow sunlight to enter across the entire front façade. The open staircase ensures that there is no interruption in the experience of this light.

From the living floor with the master bedroom, a new staircase has been built to the sleeping floor, which overlooks the atrium. This atrium provides access to the roof terrace and allows daylight into the apartment, bringing the outdoors closer. The roof terrace features an outdoor kitchen and offers plenty of space to enjoy the sun and the view, surrounded by plants.

The master bedroom on the^secondfloor has a walk-in closet and private bathroom. The bedroom features a warm color scheme and gives a luxurious hotel feel. This warm color scheme can be felt throughout the entire apartment. A bright layout with lighter colors to emphasize the sightlines is interspersed with a warm color scheme in areas where a more intimate character is desired. A sophisticated lighting plan ensures optimal illumination of interior elements and enhances the desired intimate character. In addition to the lighting, a high-end sound system is linked to the home automation system to ensure that the experience in the apartment perfectly matches the desires of the moment.
